If a Pediatric Specialist cannot help you virtually, we will make every effort to direct you to the appropriate in-person care for your kid.
KixCare Urgent Care visits are always attended by our expert-selected Pediatricians.
For Kix360°, you can message, call, or video chat with a pediatric nurse professional.
After booking an appointment, you will always be matched to a provider that is licensed to practice in your region.
KixCare doctors are equipped to write prescriptions and provide referrals for lab work, in-person care, or Pediatric Specialist services.
We understand that family doctors may not always be available, so we welcome patients who need care outside of visits with their regular provider through Kix360°. We do not want to replace your trusted family doctor but hope to increase access to quality pediatric services for all Canadian kids!
Virtual care, sometimes called telehealth or telemedicine, is an emerging method for increasing public access to healthcare and is supported by the provincial and federal government throughout Canada. Virtual care includes healthcare delivery through audio, video, or text communications, removing many traditional barriers to healthcare.
If you are unsure about which provider is right for you, please book a free visit with a KixCare Pediatrician who can refer you to the appropriate care.
Click “Book Urgent Care” to re-direct to our patient portal. Appointments may be booked 24/7, but availability may vary depending on our operating hours.
KixCare doctors strive to accept appointments within the same day, and as soon as within 30 minutes of booking. Appointments can be made up to 7 days before the requested time.
Doctor visits are completely free for patients with a valid health card. We are currently serving Ontario and will soon grow to serve other provinces and territories.
If your child is being seen for a medical issue requiring in-person care or a follow-up, your doctor will be able to refer you to the most appropriate option.
KixCare is designed for every Canadian family, so all web forms and virtual care visits are available in English and French. We are working to confirm the ability of our providers to practice in other languages – stay tuned!
After choosing the reason for your visit, you can select which type of provider you would like to see from the list of appropriate providers. Although you can’t choose your specific provider at this time, all providers will be able to book follow-up appointments when continuous care is needed. Your attending doctors will also always have your record on file. We want KixCare to feel like home, and our doctors will always go the extra mile to deliver care that’s personalized to your child.
If your child is being seen for a medical issue requiring a planned follow-up, your doctor will be able to book that appointment.
If something comes up and you want to book an unplanned follow-up, simply visit our booking portal and select “follow-up” as the appointment type.
