Dr. Aviva Lowe is a pediatrician with an expertise in consulting pediatrics and breastfeeding medicine. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University and trained in pediatrics at SickKids in Toronto where she served as chief resident. She has been practicing pediatrics in the GTA since 2003, and through her varied consultation practices, she has cared for a diverse population of children, including many in underserved and at-risk segments of society.

Virginia Le received her BScN in 2021. Since graduating, she has worked on neurosurgical and orthopedic units at Toronto Western Hospital and Holland Bloorview Hospital Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, respectively. Prior to nursing, she worked with autistic children for four years. She joined KixCare to continue her work with children. In her spare time, she enjoys biking and spending time in nature.

Dr. Raven Dumont-Maurice is a proud mother of two. She is a member of the Algonquin nation of Kitigan Zibi, Quebec. She graduated McGill medicine in 2012 and completed her pediatric residency at McGill University in 2016. She currently resides in Montreal and practices community pediatrics on the island of Montreal as well as in Kanehsatà:ke. She is the UGME Campus Outaouais Quebec First Nations and Inuits’ Health Content Expert at McGill’s satellite campus in Gatineau.

Maria Mohareb began her nursing career at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation hospital where she spent time providing family-centred care for patients and families adapting to new and existing disabilities. She then transitioned to SickKids, where she worked with Orthopaedic and ENT patients, and gained experience and expertise with pain management, complex wound care, pre-operative, and post-operative care management. In 2022, she completed the Nurse Practitioner Program, earning a Masters in Nursing and Primary Health Care.

Dr. Michael Arsenault graduated medical school from the University of Ottawa before completing his pediatrics residency at the University of Sherbrooke and the University of Montreal. He then completed a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship. He has been a full time pediatric emergency medicine physician since 1997 at Hôpital Ste-Justine, and was chief of emergency medicine from 2005-2010. He was also a member of the trauma medicine committee, and has been an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Montreal since 1997.

Leanne is a cognitive behavioural therapy counsellor with a private practice specializing in anxiety for children and adolescents. She is trained as a teacher and guidance counsellor, with a master’s from Toronto’s Institute of Child Study, OISE, and certificates in CBT from the Beck Institute in Philadelphia. Leanne is a mental health advocate who speaks regularly about anxiety in the classroom to parent and teacher groups. She founded an annual Mental Health Empowerment Day symposium to increase the understanding of parents and those who work with children and youth in community settings regarding mental health issues.
