Our pediatric nursing team is supported by specialized Nurse Practitioners who can diagnose, prescribe, and make referrals as needed to Pediatricians and Allied Health Professionals.
We treat all kids and teenagers, from the ages of 0-17.
KixCare pediatric care professionals proudly offer primary and (non-life threatening) urgent care that is high-quality, safe, and accessible. You can use KixCare to address any health concern that you would typically visit a walk-in clinic for. These include:
Fever, Viral Illness, Otitis, Red Eyes;
Chronic Cough, Asthma;
Abdominal Pain, Constipation;
Infant Feeding, Colic, or Digestion;
Minor Injury, Concussion, Sprain, or Strain;
Mental Health or Behavioural Issues;
If a Pediatrician or Pediatric Expert cannot help you virtually, we will make every effort to direct you to the appropriate in-person care for your kid.
KixCare Urgent Care visits are always attended by our expert-selected Pediatricians.
For Kix360°, you get 24/7 virtual access, by video and messaging, to Pediatric Registered Nurses, supported by specialized Nurse Practitioners. NPs can diagnose, prescribe, and make referrals as needed to Pediatricians and Allied Health Professionals.
No matter the program you will always be matched to a provider that is licensed to practice in your region.
KixCare doctors are equipped to write prescriptions and provide referrals for lab work, in-person care, or Pediatric Specialist services. KixCare pediatric nurses can refer as needed to other pediatric experts as well.
We understand that family doctors may not always be available, so we welcome patients who need care outside of visits with their regular provider. We do not want to replace your trusted family doctor but hope to increase access to quality doctors for all Canadian kids!
